Launch system update from lenovo. (See all apps it comes pre installed.) See under optional updates and install lenovo dependency package.

Re: ThinkPad Tablet 2 - Version Conflict, Lenovo Settings and Location Awareness

I had the same problem and it turned out that the cause was that there was a mixup between the Lenovo Settings app and the Lenovo Settings Dependency Package. Essentially, the LSDP acts as a "backbone" to the Lenovo Setting app.

The way I resolved this is:

1. Go to Control Panel > Programs and uninstall the LSDP

2. Go to the Store (or do it by clicking and holding the Lenovo Settings app tile) and uninstall the Lenovo Settings app

3. Restart the tablet

4. Download the LSDP from the TPT2 drivers page and install it

5. Restart the tablet

6. Install the Lenovo Settings app from the Store

This should resolve the issue with the version conflict.

This helped me too

mick_nyc, when you install the Lenovo Settings app (clean install), try to run a check for updates through the store. There was an updated version released a couple of days ago,

Hmm, I'm afraid that I've followed all the steps, and checked for updates in the Store, but I'm still seeing the Version Conflict message.

One other odd thing - the screenshot of the Settings App in the Store shows entries for Mobile Hotspot and Camera, but my Settings App is missing these entries (it has never had them displayed).

I did steps but it refused to allow me to reinstall the lenovo setting app from the app store. It said something happened that did not allow installation. I am not sure I need that app though and the conflict message has gone away. DO I NEED THAT APP OR CAN I ACCESS ALL THOSE SETTING ELSEWHERE?
