Hi jonik! Did it work before? If yes, were there any changes or any updates installed before the issue came up? Have you tried connecting the external display directly to the USB-C port of the device? try running the update from the Vantage app and install all updates especially the Thunderbolt firmware and software. It can also be manually updated from our website: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/sk/en/products/tablets/thinkpad-tablet-series/thinkpad-x1-tablet-3rd-ge...

It has never worked with the docking.
Works fine with the external display connected directly to the USB-C port.
All updated from Lenovo and Windows.

Try installing the firmware of the docking station here; https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/acc100356. If the issue is the same, try connecting it to other docking station and check if the issue is the same.

I've installed the firmware. Same problem
I don't have any other docking stations available for testing.
If I keep the window on the external display half the display it works fine, but if I maximize the window it starts go off and on and so on.
i just tried to open the Intel UHD-graphics panel. For the ekternat display the update freq was set to 29 Hz. When I tried to change this to 30Hz the display stopped turning off and on, but instead I got red lines all over.

The issue seems to be a problem with the docking station. Try connecting other devices to the docking station to check the port's functionality. If it doesn't work then we can confirm that the problem lies on the Thunderbolt 3 docking station.
