X1 Tablet Gen3 - Blue/Green Screen "INTERNAL_POWER_FAILURE" after bios/driver update

2020-03-20, 14:54 PM

Hi,

I found many articles for YOGA etc, but I am on a X1 Tablet Gen 3.  I can no longer boot into windows normally, I get a green screen with INTERNAL_POWER_FAILURE, if i remove insider its the same but Blue screen so this isn't related to windows version. Linux works fine, and I can boot into safe mode.

Does anyone know how I can get windows working again?  Reading around it can be a bios setting or it could be a driver which is pretty vague.

I've tried disabling some drivers, I can get to safe mode but no networking.  If i try disable hardware, it gives a blue screen about ACPI_BIOS which I guess is microsoft locking down its OS.

Thanks
