This is typical Lenovo 2016 issue because BIOS and drivers of today's devices are just unfinished beta software. There is probably no solution because Lenovo is now focused on cheap consumer devices where such issues are widely accepted by customers. Lenovo seems to already lost capability to produce serious devices without basic functionality flaws like this one
You can read horror stories in T and P/W ThinkPad series forums as well. The quality of ThinkPad brand has gone.
The only way is to diagnose these issues yourself or together with other community members. I would start to study event log items.

You should have a 1 year warranty on it - contact LENOVO ASAP and let them deal with it - you may have a faulty motherboard (like majority of us) - once they receive it I am sure you will get it back in 100% condition. Does it suck - yeah it does, I spent a pretty penny on this x1 tablet and had multiple wifi issues - but now that I have it back - it's been working like a charm (until a buggy BIOS updates crashes it, lol)
Best of luck - keep us posted.
