I used "rufus" to prepare the USB drive (GPT partition), but still had no luck. I will try "MBR partition".

It is supposed to work with uefi, at least it worked with my TPT2 (as well as with my ASUS Vivo Tab Smart).

Dumb question, but: What exactly is happening? It is a straightforward peocedure. Have you changed boot order in your BIOS?

I did change the boot order in the BIOS to my usb drive. However, it still booted to Windows after restarting. I even tried to use F12 to change the boot order, and it did show all the options including the usb drive, but it just didn't allow me to choose the usb drive (no response, after I chose it).

When changing the boot order in your BIOS, dis you have your prepared isn srive plugged in? It should show up in a boot list, as far as I remember. And stick to UEFI/GPT.

And the USB drive was prepared with Rufus (Version?), the Windows version was 32bit, and you prepared boot order for it in your BIOS (version?), and made no other changes to the BIOS?

Have you tried using the Windows 7 USB DVD download tool, it works for creating a bootable USB from a Windows 8 iso. I don't know if the TPT2 will like the iso or not, but it works for installing Windows on other computers witj IEFI enabled.
