Re: Spontaneous touchpad/touchscreen events on W510

I have had the same problem with my W510:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KItKh1ydK-8

I sent it in for repair and have had it for a week since it came back. So far I have not seen the issue reproduce, but I am not convinced they have fixed it before I use it for another few weeks.

Re: Phantom touches on W510

Rover: how is it "solved" if you disable the broadband service? I want to use my broadband connection and also use my touch screen!

JameZ: Can we get a release date for the driver update? Your last post was 3 months ago!

Re: Phantom touches on W510

@phyle,

Engineering has not provided any drivers from their end on this matter however they have requested to send the laptop for service to get it checked.

Re: Spontaneous touchpad/touchscreen events on W510

Got my mb replaced last week - that seemed to have done the trick. I haven't had one phantom touch since Smiley Happy
