I think they been having some serious issues with Gen 4 X1 Yoga - their website was going to an error page yesterday and today i can see the page but when I click on configure it goes to blank screen. Also no update yet on the shipping date - very poor communication fro m Lenovo.
This is my first purchase and would be my last with Lenovo - will steer clear of Lenovo in the future !!!

You bought a computer on first day it was listed for purchase, you are going to need to have some patience. If you want something RIGHT NOW buy something else. I ordered 20 with understanding it will be several weeks for delivery. They may have over promised on delivery and that it their fault but it doesn't change when you will get it. Once you have a tracking number you will know.

Noticed something odd too. The X1Y4 was listed on distributor sites for a few days, now all models have disappeared. X1C7 is still listed normally though.
One would think they'd already had enough bad luck with Intel's delays.

RIGHT NOW ??? - Its 2nd July and the order was 21st June. Even if they didnt deliver it (I **bleep** not expecting them to deliver today) , they should be open about the issues and keep the customer informed.
Do you work for them ? What I should and shouldn't buy should be no one else business but mine.

Nope don't work for them but have used, supported and repaired hundreds of them since the X220t in 2011 I think. I **bleep** not telling you what or what not to buy just trying to properly set expectations. You have three posts ever on this forum all in this thread. Lenovo is a huge company and in the top 2-3 PC sellers worldwide. They have a process. This model was released very late this year and they are obviously slowly rolling it out. Just be patient.

I get your point about expectation - (which I dont have much from Lenovo) but it doesnt matter even if they are the top PC seller, they should be more open about the delays and keep the customer updated - thats all I expect. May be its too much of a ask !
Also how is the number of posts relevant ? I did mention that its my first order with Lenovo in my post.

No one on this forum has any definitive insight on exact ship dates for these units. Someone in the factory in China or higher up that chain maybe know. Sales people can only tell you what they have been told which is about as acurate as the info you have been given. You will get it when you get it.
