Add a second ssd to x1 Carbon 5th generation?

I am purchasing an x1 carbon 5th generation with a 1 TB Solid State Drive OPAL2.0 PCIe-NVMe.

I am wondering if it is possible to install a second ssd of whatever format? I will have an empty wwan slot.

Right now I am using an x220 that has 1Tb SSD and 1Tb msata ssd. It would be great if something similar were possible with the x1 carbon.

Thanks for your assistance!

Re: Add a second ssd to x1 Carbon 5th generation?

I haven't seen any confirmation that Lenovo allows the use of an SSD in the WWAN slot on the 5th gen X1 Carbon, so I would say that it probably wouldn't work.  You can try though.

And there's only one M.2 slot, so I don't think you can add an extra SSD.
