All windows revert to small size after waking from sleep

I recently used the system update tool on my Thinkpad Carbon X1 v5.  Now every time the computer wakes from sleep or hibernate all the windows have been resized to small windows.  It's like it thinks I have a lower screen resolution than I do, then realizes the correct resolution.  I've checked the resolution settings and they are all correct.

Thanks for your help.

Re: All windows revert to small size after waking from sleep

Same started to happen to me also.  Maybe after this week's Windows update.  My previous laptop was a P50, also with Windows 10, and it had the same problem.  It was after going from office to home or vv.  Same dock and monitor at both locations.

I'm hoping I can find a way to stop this, otherwise I will have to resort to the imperfect solution of a utility app to remember window sizes and positions. (Such as:  http://www.desksoft.com/WindowManager.htm)
