I have an annoying issues with X1 Carbon. Bluetooth looses connectivity every once in a while with all Bluetooth devices "Mouse, Headset, etc...". I reboot, everything works fine for some time, and it then looses connectivity again and again.
Tried to update the drivers to the latest using Lenovo Solution Center but no luck.
Appreciate your help please

I just installed/updated directly from the Broadcom to get the latest and that madea few things work a bit better.
My corporate image was quite dated - not sure what comes from the factory.

Try the following: Go to Control Panel, Device Manager, BlueTooth. Select the ThinkPad BlueTooth device and the Properties of this device. Go to the Power Management tab and unselect (clear) "Allow the computer to turn off this device"
I had to do that on a different ThinkPad with BlueTooth.

Looks like that solution has improved things way better. I'm experiencing now small disconnections that might last for seconds, then it works back. The intermittent disconnections have now disappeared. Thank you JDH.

bought bluetooth speaker. paired it to X1 (gen3) on win10. but it does not play. shows disconnect in control panel. keep pressing connect but it will not. one time out of 20 it will connect but then in 5 minutes is disconnects again. while it does play, there is a lot of interference/distortion.
i reinstalled the realtek driver but that did nto help
i should also note that i used to use a bluetooth mouse but that would lose connection every few minutes (for a few seconds). very annoying so i stopped using it.
can someone help me with the bluetooth speaker problem...
