Re:Annoying Bluetooth Mouse Stutter Lag on x1 carbon gen 9

Doesn't work for X1Y6 or X1Y9 if equipped with the human presence sensor.

1. If just add these 3 lines, the power of the Bluetooth radio will be shut off and can never get back once you are not sitting in front of the laptop and the screen is blacked, you have to reboot to get the Bluetooth back.

2. If as you said, after add these 3 lines, remove Intel Bluetooth and reboot, then after reboot the windows 10 system will remove these lines and restore it back to the previous condition (windows 10 21H1).

Edit registry :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\\\\_8087&PID_0026Ν&ed1e05a&0&10\ Parameters]
"DeviceSelectiveSuspended"=dword:00000000
"SelectiveSuspendEnabled"=dword:00000000
"SelectiveSuspendSupported"=dword:00000000

I think you will have to remove your BT device, reboot and add it back

setting "DeviceSelectiveSuspended" to 0 seems to work for now I couldn't find: "SelectiveSuspendEnabled"=dword:00000000 "SelectiveSuspendSupported"=dword:00000000

Yes,

but after a while you will find the system changes DeviceSelectiveSuspended back to 1, and the problem resumes (win10 21H1).

You have to add SelectiveSuspendEnabled"=dword:00000000" SelectiveSuspendSupported"=dword:00000000 manually to prevent the change.

BUT----

if your laptop has a human presence sensor, once you are not there, the screen will be off, and the system will cut off Bluetooth power forever, and you have to reboot to get your Bluetooth back.

This is _very_ annoying problem. I really hope someone from Lenovo is reading these.

Makes working with brand new laptop silly. This problem should not exist on this price range machine.

Solve it!

I confirm that with Human Presence Sensor the fix does not work unfortunately. Lenovo Fix it!

I'm in the group not able to reproduce the problem. (Logitech MX Anywhere 3 mouse and ThinkPad Bluetooth Silent Mouse, X1C9 with Human Presence Detection). What steps does it take to reproduce?

USB-C: Just cos it fits don't mean it works.
I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!
