Anybody disappointed with the X1 Yoga Gen 4?

Hi, I was waiting for the X1 Yoga Gen 4 but I am disappointed to find that just like Apple, Lenovo removed useful features just to make the laptop slightly thinner. In the case of Gen 4, it removed the signature feature of retractable keyboard. So, what is the different between the X1Y4 and C930 then? Also to make it thin, they put in a smaller battery. I would rather them keep the same thickness or even increase the thickness or footprint slightly to accomodate a larger battery.

Before I decide whether I like or dislike it, I would like to try one.

IMO the biggest disappointment is that the screen aspect ratio is still 16:9 and that we lost the microSD slot, see this X1Y4 thread. Otherwise it looks like a nice system.

Is it going to use the latest generation of CPU compared with the Yoga C930? Any news on what it will be available for purchase? Any other color option? The dark silver is kind of ugly.

Re: Anybody disappointed with the X1 Yoga Gen 4?

I've resigned myself to accepting 16:9 displays on all these 2-in-1 style devices. It doesn't seem like any vendor is willing to produce one. I would have hoped that Lenovo used this very thing as a point of difference for their business productivity users given the basis of the ThinkPad market. Shame.
I'm also disappointed that the microSD slot has been kicked to the curb.
