Battery life estimation

Hi,

first of all, sorry for my english. I'm not a english native user.

I've got a litte issue with my Thinkpad X1.

My battery life estimation is incorrect. When it's fully charged, i've got around "15 hours" of autonomy. And for the pourcentage, it's always at 95 or 92%.

So, i can't know how much power i still have got on my battery. And when my battery is discharged, i've got a windows message say me "only7% left".

Can someone help me?

Thanks.

I've got windows 8.1, intel Core I.3.

Re: Battery life estimation

You could always have the latest BIOS installed, from System Update.

But it can show 15 hours if you're simpyl idleing. Try doing some work and run some applications and see if it show's 15 hours...

Re: Battery life estimation

Hi,

thanks fo you response.

My BIOS is up to date and i'm not idle. I've got the same estimation, whatever use. I can use google chrome with 8 tabs, play a HD video and run an kaspersky scan, it show the same thing (about 12h and always 98%).
