Bios update failure Thinkpad Carbon X1

Hi.

Today I have launched a lenovo update which included a bios update.
During the update the computer shutdown and now I am unable to restart the PC.
No sign whatsoever. Blank screen. Pressing the power on button there are 2 beeps followed by another 3 beeps and nothing is happening.
I tried long press of the power button but I does not make any difference.
On this PC I cannot remove the battery since it is not a removable one.

Is there anything I could try before sending it to the service center ?

If anyone got experience please let me know.

Sorry you're having difficulty.

You didn't mention which generation of Carbon you have, but you might try pressing the emergency reset button in the tiny hole on the bottom of the machine. Please see the links below for model-specific info.

The hard reset did work. Now it is working again.
My computer is Carbon X1 gen 3.
