Bluetooth card for X201

2019-06-23, 2:18 AM

Is there an alternate card that will work with an X201 and Windows 10?

Bluetooth does not appear in Devices, but the card is present.

FRU:60Y3271

I have downloaded the W7 legacy drivers, but I get a message about Broadcom not being supported on Windows

I can get it to work with a USB dongle, but would really like something internal.

Hello,

I am not sure if it will work with Windows 10, but the Bluetooth 4.0 BDC (Bluetooth Daughter Card), Lenovo FRU 60Y3303 (Foxconn) or 60Y3305 (Liteon) should connect into the X201's 14-pin BDC socket.

Do you know if these use other than Broadcom drivers?

Found solution after many attempts. Had to down load Fn F5 driver, then bluetooth power option window appeared. Finally!

And, with a 2nd X201 with identical BIOS, etc., I had to run: C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY\TpFnF5.exe manually to get it to work.
