Bottom cover tampered unknown icon

For some reason my X1-Carbon (2nd gen) states 'Bottom Cover Tamper Detected'. which happened while my laptop was near and I am sure the backcover was not opened or even touched. But ok. Now I get a bit stuck. At startup I get the errormessage and after pressing escape the laptop asks for my fingerprint. That works 'Fingerprint recognized, access granted'. So far, so good.

But then an icon appears with a human and a lock, apparantly asking for a password. Lenovo icon.jpg

I have seen many versions of these icons, but this one I cannot identify.

Can anyone help me with recognizing this?

I still have the worry that I don't have the password, but for now I just want to find out what password is expected.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Bottom cover tampered unknown icon

Just wanted to add some info here. I had ran into the same issue as the previous poster. The icon I think is asking either for the user or supervisor password. In my case, the supervisor password worked for me.

Re: Bottom cover tampered unknown icon

Hi,

Did you manage to find out what the issue was that related to the image you posted? Only we are having it on the site that I work on now.

Any information you give will be appreciated.

Cheers.
