Buying x260 battery parts

Hi everyone,

I bought an x260 coded 20F60097US with default battery configuration of 3 cell internal (45N1111, made by SON)+ 3 cell external (45N1127 made by LGC).

I would like to get an extra 6-cell, 72Wh. According to : https://download.lenovo.com/parts/ThinkPad/x260_frubom_20160127.pdf

I have 5 options. I looked up them on encompass and saw only 2 available, 1 in stock, 1 currently out of stock and will be available in Jul 13.

https://lenovo.encompass.com/item/10692595/Lenovo/45N1737/Ba_Rechargeable_Batteries

They are made by PAN and LGC. I am wondering if I can use 45N1738 with my system, the one is currently in stock ?

And a side question is that I bought my x260 from amazon, would I be qualified for Lenovo warranty ? According to : http://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/ThinkPad_X260?M=20F60097US, it says 3-years warranty.

Thank you,

Hello

The battery FRU 45N1738 is compatible, the file fru_bom lists it.

Check the warranty status here, by laptop s/n:
