I also have the same issue. I went ahead and removed the latest Lenovo Pen Driver. At first it worked. Now the pen works, however the screen does not recognize any finger touches. I now doe not have a touch screen. :-(
Lenovo please fix this.

Update: I figursd out why my touch screen didn't respond to finger gestures. I had installed a cheap screen protector. The screen protector wasn't allowing the screen to recognize my fingers. It would recognize the pen.
Deleting the Lenovo Pen Driver actually did work .

Just to let you know that a new WinTab Utility has been released which should fix the issue described in this thread.
