Charging Thinkpad Extreme X1 through ThinkVision P27u-10

The ThinkVision documents say that you can charge a Thinkpad connected to the ThinkVision monitor using a Usb-c Connector.  Have tried and tried (using one of the provided cable) and failed.  Is this possible or did I mis-read the documentation?  Thanks!

Re: Charging Thinkpad Extreme X1 through ThinkVision P27u-10

I haven't seen the documentation you are talking about but the X1 Extreme needs  135W AC adapter and the maximum that USB-C can support is 100w and I would be surprised if the monitor's USB port could even put out that much,
