Checking for driver updates -- X1 Yoga

2016-02-23, 17:54 PM

I've just got an X1 Yoga, having had a first-generation X1 Carbon Touch for some time. The Carbon had an app which you activated by pressing a key just under the screen, which ran a check and told you about any new drivers, firmware, BIOS updates etc that were needed. It would then download and install them on request.

Is there an equivalent app for the X1 Yoga?

Thanks

Yes, either open the Lenovo Companion app and run System Update utility embedded therein, or download and install the standalone System Update utility from support.lenovo.com.

Hope this helps!

USB-C: Just cos it fits don't mean it works.
I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

Doh! I didn't see the menu of icons down the left-hand side of the Lenovo Companion window! You'd think I'd never used a computer before. Ah, well. Thanks very much for being so tactful :)
