Re: Configuration+Price=?

Welcome to the forum!

Nice configuration, personally I'd take more warranty.

Cheers,

Re: Configuration+Price=?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Maybe go with the 3 year warranty?

Also, would I get better performance running XP or Vista Ultimate 64?

Re: Configuration+Price=?

Personally, my choice would be XP, but to each his/hers own. You have enough power in that machine to run Vista, the only question being whether Vista is essential for the applications you'll be using...

Three years of warranty, especially with accident protection, will give you a great peace of mind IMHO.

Cheers,

George

Re: Configuration+Price=?

Thanks for the responses, I really appreciate it. If I ordered the Vista Ultimate 64, with the XP recovery disks, would it be a fairly easy job installing it? Would I have to install drivers?

Re: Configuration+Price=?

No drivers are necessary when installing from OEM recovery disks, especially not on such a recent machine, everything should work out of the box.
