DRIVER for multi cared reader ??? Windows 7 - ThinkPad X200

Hi, I have a ThinkPad X200 74585MG, and have upgraded it to Windows 7. I can not find drivers for the SD card reader (multi-card reader), neither for Windows Vista or 7 ... I need your help! Please!

Re: DRIVER for multi cared reader ??? Windows 7 - ThinkPad X200

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Windows 7 has native driver for the card reader. Have you actually inserted a card to verify that Windows installs the driver? Also, is your OS updated?

Hi and thanks! Yes I have Windows 7 (x64) Professional with Service Pack 1, and it is updated. Before then, the SD reader worked in Vista ... very good! What can you do?
Regards / Dan

How big is your SD card, and what happens when you insert it? Are there any yellow marks in your device manager?

Try this, insert the card in and run Windows Update, apply any multi-card related driver if Windows finds it. If WIndows finds no driver then try following one:- Ricoh Multi Card Reader Driver

Re: DRIVER for multi cared reader ??? Windows 7 - ThinkPad X200

Hello again.

I tested with an SD card at 32MB and one on the 64GB. Both have worked with Vista. When I insert the SD card, nothing happens ...
SD will not run up into the device manager. Not even if I install the driver that you gave me (with it, I have tried before)
If I manually install the driver that Windows 7 offers, it will in the device manager, but with yellow flake.
I've done what you say but it does not work ...
