Disable web browser back button in Windows 7

2010-08-06, 13:50 PM

I recently purchased an X201 and I would like to disable the web browser back and forward buttons, because I keep inadvertently erasing e-mails in web-based environments. I found a document that described using the ThinkVantage keyboard customizer to do this, but it doesn't appear that application exists for Windows 7.

Is there some other way to disable the web browser keys in Windows 7, or is there a different software package I should download?

Thanks for your help.

I was able to resolve this issue using the keyboard customizer for Windows Vista. It can be downloaded at:
