Drivers update for Windows 10 October Update

Hello all,

it seems that Windows 10 October Update requires some driver updates.  For example Intel Graphics must be at least 24.20.100.6286, but for ThinkPad X1 Yoga 1st Gen there is only 24.20.100.6170, while Intel already offers 25.20.100.6323.  I don't know the status of other drivers, but it is something Lenovo should check ASAP.  What is the status on the driver front for the October Update?

Best regards,

Karol

Re: Drivers update for Windows 10 October Update

Not really a help for you if you installed this update already, but Microsoft has pulled the 1809 update for the time being...

Re: Drivers update for Windows 10 October Update

I haven't installed it.  I read several reports and that is where the issues with drivers were listed.

Yes, the update is pulled at the moment, but the bugs will be fixed at some point.  Then, it would be nice to have the drivers updated by Lenovo.  Lenovo is usually not very quick with picking up latest drivers (especially the Intel Graphics), so my post should be considered as a preemptive request to get the drivers in place by the time the October Update is here.

P.S.: installing drivers directly from Intel did not work on my X1 Yoga 1st gen.
