Dull screen on X61s :)

Hi - I just purchased an X61s (w/ Ultralight) and am quite unsatisfied with the display. I don't know whether it has to do with the matte finish, but the fonts are not very sharp - not to mention viewing photos. I've tried all sorts of adjustments with the brightness and contrast but am still not happy.

Is there anyway to increase the resolution beyond 1024 x 768?

Does anyone else feel this way?

Thanks,
-Jake

only the tablet models have SXGA+ as an option.   the notebooks do not.
