2013-01-23, 3:42 AM

Hi leesof,

According to these Microsoft forum posts, the answer is yes it is supported.

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-performance/is-samsung-express-cache-incompatible-with-windows/5cfa30de-59ff-4cfa-b97c-7296c8d5fee2

If your need is urgent, you might be able to use ExpressCache in compatibility mode.

Thanks.

I also read that message thread.

Samsung released

     ExpressCache Command Version 1.0.94.0
     Copyright⌐ 2010-2012 Condusiv Technologies.
But, Lenovo supports

    ExpressCache Command Version 1.0.86.0
    Copyright?2010-2011 Diskeeper Corporation.

Maybe works well?

leesof,

Sometimes the most recent driver may not function as well as a previous driver.

You can try and see which version is better for your needs and let us know how it's working out for you.

Hello,

Just to provide a point of clarification for anyone reading this thread, Condusiv Technologies was formerly known as Diskeeper Corporation (which, in turn, was formerly known as Executive Software).

The ExpressCache software is actually from the same company, and not two different ones.

To add clarity, ExpressCache is supported on both Windows7 and Windows8. For Windows8 support it is recommended that version 1.0.86, or later, is used. Preferably version 1.0.100 is installed.
