Fingerprint sensor problem - X1 Yoga

I have two week old X1 Yoga (20FQ) and the fingerprint sensor seems to work very unstable. It worked fine for a while and and suddenly in Windows 10 login it didn't work at all. It seems to read multiple times as when I put my finger close to sensor it immediately gives "Too many failed attempts" message and asks to login with PIN-code.


I removed the device and re-installed the latest drivers from Lenovo support page and it worked again for two days. And now again I cannot login using fingerprint sensor.


As the issue was resolved for couple of days with reinstalling the device, it might not be a HW-issue. Is there any good diagnostic tools available or is there a place to change the sensitivity of the sensor?
