Fn related options not working after switching OS

 My Fn key doesnt prompt anymore the F6 key to launch the integrated webcam and I can no longer control luminosity.

Whereas it says that all the devices are properly working, the webcam is not detected at all.

this has happened after I upgraded the system from Window XP to Windows 7 on the X220 thinkpad;

I tried to reinstall the webcam driver but the problem remains.

Any clue or tips for how to fix this?

thanx a lot

Re: Fn related options not working after switching OS

welcome to the community.

if you haven't done so, i would recommend that you visit your driver matrix:

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-77280

to download and install ThinkVantage System Update:

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS012808

as it may offer you drivers that you might have overlooked.

please post back your results.

regards.
