Got new thinkpad x1 yoga (5th generation) and can't start it.

2020-10-14, 11:53 AM

Hello today I got my customized Lenovo ThinkPad x1 yoga from Campus point.

But after I start it I came to a Boot Menu/App Menu site and I can't leave it after I tried ESC it stated it needs an internet connection after connecting it with LAN  it tried to start PXE over ipv4 than with ipv6  after failing it goes back to the start side.

When I brought it I let the 512P-MZ-V7S500BW - 512 GB switched to the

500 GB M.2 PCIe/NVMe-SSD (Samsung 970 Evo Plus).

not sure if that's the reason.

When I click ESC or PXE Boot in the menu then this show up (pictures are not in order).

Does someone know what to do?  Don't want to return it because I can't start it that's so dump.

Hi,

I think we need additional information.  Are you trying to boot the machine?  Are you trying to PXE boot, or boot the from the primary drive?  Are you trying to access BIOS?

I think you're saying that you replaced the SSD.  Is there an operating system on the new drive?  How was it installed?  etc, etc, etc...
