Re: H5321 3G card issue with windows 10

The "H5321 gw Mobile Broadband Network Adapter" is in the "other" part, not in the modem

When i double click on it, i do not have a diagnostics tab.

I just have general/driver/details/event (sorry for the translation but my computer is in french)

the details tab seems to be the one you're talking about but there is no field starting with revision

Re: H5321 3G card issue with windows 10

Modems only have diagnostics tab, I know about that. Is the Modems thread (node) empty, at all?

Do you remember content of the wwan modem drivers installation screen, before process was finished? There could be a list of devices the drivers have been installed for - network adapter, location sensor, modem etc., with green check or red cross.

Re: H5321 3G card issue with windows 10

No I have two devices in the modem part:

- 1x1 11b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card Adapter

- Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection

During the install, there is only one component installed:

- H5321 gw Mobile Broadband Geolocation Sensor

Re: H5321 3G card issue with windows 10

Sorry, it's impossible. Wireless adapter and GE Network Controller, definitely, should be placed in the Network adapters node.

Re: H5321 3G card issue with windows 10

No problem

OK
Situation is we need laptop with win8 running:
a) It might be not only laptop with wwan slot, but any one with usb port. For such laptop adapter mini pci-e -> USB is needed.

b) usb media with WinPE, but as I mentioned I didn't test flash capability

c) Windows To Go on the flash media

d) LiveUSB with Windows

e) Windows 8 on the virtual Windows 10 machine, internal or 3rd party

Every solution (b, c, d) doesn't need new Windows version was installed on your laptop. Just boot and work.
Virtual machine is the simplest ant most reliable way IMO. Just deploy new OS in the trial mode.

Re: H5321 3G card issue with windows 10

I did manage to install win8 on a USB stick

I installed the 3G card drivers but I still got a device called MbmLowExt in error.

I tried after to update the firmware, but i got the same error than under win10 (Initialisation failed)

Any other idea how to fix this issue?

Mobile Broadband Ericsson H5321 gw not working with Windows 10

Hi

I recently upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10. After that, my mobile broadband stopped working. Here's the situation:

- The device manager sees the card, but uses Microsoft drivers (10.0.10240.16392) from

   C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\vwifibus.sys

   C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\wmbclass.sys

- When I go into the network settings of Win 10, I see the menu "Cellular" but when I open it, no device/network to select.

- Network Connections in Win 10 show a "mobile broadband" adapter which is active, but not connected

What I tried so far:

- Rollback to Win 8.1, update firmware to R3C18, upgrade again to Win 10

- Downloaded Win 10 drivers from http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x1-... and install them.

- Do a manual driver update and select the downloaded Win 10 drivers => Windows is saying, they are not compatible with my device

Whenever I rollback to Win 8.1 mobile broadband works like a charm!

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance, regards

Huweee
