Welcome to the forum!

The graphic card of your ThinkPad is soldered on the motherboard, changing it is unfortunately not possible.

Regards

The x250 only comes with integrated graphics.  There are no motherboard options.

Desktop computers have expansion cards; laptops have motherboards with chips.  In general, laptop graphics cannot be changed or upgraded.

I know this says otherwise but have things changed on the p72?

I have the 4mB but it cant support a decent fps or 144hz for use with a decent monitor.

The p72 was available with the 16GB card 5200 I think it was and I am using the  NVIDIA Quadro P2000 4GB GDRR5 128bits

Gutted I didn't think this through carefully enough, was sure a 4GB quadro should be enough..

THanks

P70 and P71 had separate (MXM) cards that plugged in, but I never could find one with a Lenovo FRU for sale. I was told the ones for other computers did not work.  (I have a P70)

On the P72 (and P73), everything is integrated into the motherboard so there is no hope.  This is the downside of everything getting smaller and more features being integrated.

There's no graphic card or graphic chip for X250, the graphic functionality is built inside the CPU,
