I just bought and received the new X1 Carbon and want to find out or ascertain the warranty status for my system. How can I do so, besides having to call Service?
To check on the warranty status of your X1 Carbon or any Lenovo systems, users can go to Warranty Status Lookup page in Lenovo Support site.
Once here, input your machine's Serial Number and for ThinkPad users, Machine Type Model (MTM) number.
What to do if your serial number / machine type is not recognised?
An expired warranty system will still be able to show up in the page with "expired" status unless the serial number is not in the record.
