How can I type © symbol with my think pad x1 6th keyboard?

Hello everyone,

How can I type © symbol with my think pad x1 6th keyboard?I searched on website, alt+0169 does not work on my keyboard, I have to use windows character map , copy and paste. I called the support of lenovo, one lady transfered my line to microsoft, so I hung up the line.  Is there any easy combination to solve this problem on my x1 keyboard?

Thanks for your advices,

Don

If you have NumLk on your keyboard, you should be able to use that with the numeric keyboard keypad keys (7,8,9,0,U,I,O,P,J,K,L,:,M,<,>,?).

Otherwise, one possible workaround would be to copy the symbol to your clipboard (Ctrl + C) and use Ctrl + V to paste it into your document as many times as you want (of course anytime you use the Clipboard for anything else, you have to start over).

Another option would be to buy a USB numeric keypad to attach to your laptop.
