Hey danielbernardbe,

Welcome, from your post topic are you having problems trying to Enroll your finger into the reader? And if this is your issue what is happening? Do you swipe your finger once and it won't take?

Here is a guide to set up your fingerprint reader:

Re: How to I make 3-finger swiping work on my Thinkpad x230?

I believe the OP is actually asking about multi-touch gestures for the touchpad.

I looked through the user guide (start menu -> help and support) but it doesn't seem like this feature is well-documented.

  • Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Mouse
  • Click on the 'UltraNav' tab
  • In the 'TouchPad' area, make sure 'Enable TouchPad is checked, and that the bullet 'Use as pointing device with advanced features' is selected.
  • Click the Settings button
  • Expand 'Application Gestures' , and there are numerous options in there all the way up to four-finger flicking.

Keep in mind, these gestures can be a bit finnicky on the x230. Playing with the ultranav settings can make it better though.

Hope this helps!
