I acquired a used Thinkpad X230 and want to do a clean installtion and install Win7 instead of the illegal bloatware Win 10 that I got with the machine. Unfortunately, there is no way to get to the Bios to change the boot order to boot from an USB.
I Installed the Intel utility but see no way to disable the bloody boot agent. Sorry for the maybe dumb question, but i am not into Linux, DOS and giving in programmers commands. I only can handle normal mainstream users apps.
So, is there for a normal user any way to disable the Intel Boot Agent and get to Thinkpad's Bios in order to change the boot order and do a clean install from an USB without Linux Boot Discs and similar stuff?
Answer highly appreciated.
Thanx in advance.

The Intel Boot Agent message appears when the computer cannot find a bootable operating system on any of the attached drives and instead searches on the network for a special type of server from which to boot.
The only way to change this is through the BIOS settings. Try tapping the F1 key as soon as the ThinkPad X230 is turned on, and see if that lets you get into the BIOS settings.
