To go from GPT to MBR, you have to set the machine to Legacy boot in the UEFI firmware settings (UEFI boots from GPT not MBR). You will also have to reinstall the operating system, since the drive must be formatted to switch the partitioning scheme.

Why do you want to switch to MBR from GPT?

To perform the switch, the following steps should be followed. This is all at your own risk, and all data currently on the computer should be backed up before hand, as the drive will be erased.

Step 0: make recovery media

Step 1: Shut down the Computer.

Step 2: Hold F1 and turn the computer on, it should boot into the UEFI settings.

Step 3: Go to the Boot Settings tab and set Boot to legacy only. If it is already legacy only or "Both" the system could already be MBR formatted

Step 4: once this setting is changed, the sytem will no longer boot. you must then use the recovery media to reinstall the OS.

once the OS is installed, the partition scheme should be MBR

This is because one of antivirus software can only be installed on completely MBR initialized systems. There must be no GPT or dynamic drives attached to the system.
