Intel SSD Model in X1 Extreme

when I checked the X1 extreme storage it shows the SSD "INTEL SSDPEKKF512G8L". Not sure whether it is   Intel 760P or 7600P.

can someone confirm on the same.

Also if I would like to add another SSD along with it in other slot "Samsung Pro 970", will it work fine?

Re: Intel SSD Model in X1 Extreme

It's an Intel 7600P .

If you wish to use laptop' RAID option, new SSD should be the same type (PCIe NVMe) and capacity.

Re: Intel SSD Model in X1 Extreme

Samsung 970pro will run fine on the X1e, infact i’m running 2 of them, just be sure to download the nvme driver from samsung to maximize the performance.
