Re:Latest Intel Graphics Driver Makes Display Dim

Hello,

A BETA driver has been made available to me for the X1 Yoga Gen 4. If anyone would like to give it a try please send me a private message including your X1 Yoga Gen. 4 system serial number for validation purposes, I will then send a link to download the driver. By requesting to test the driver you accept that you are not permitted to re-distribute it to any other person.

I haven't received any specific information on that system but I do know it also has the attention of engineers and would expect any fixed to be rolled out at the same time.

The X1 Extreme gen2 needs to be added to the list -- because its affected, like any laptop with the 630 intel gpu using lenovo drivers

Hello Andy, alas the beta version is ineffective. Only version 7529 retains the original brightness. It's really a shame to tinker with a manufacturer like Lenovo. Thank you all the same.

Re:Latest Intel Graphics Driver Makes Display Dim

Last night I left my notebook powered on downloading a game.

This morning, Lenovo Vantage "decided" itself that he must update all pending drivers and installed the flawed Intel one.

I had to uninstall manually, and install the previous driver.

Lenovo: please PULL the driver.

PLEASE.

Re:Latest Intel Graphics Driver Makes Display Dim

I solved it .

But it's still a BIG issue.

Today,I clean reinstall windows 10 (2004)

and used "Lenovo System Update" to update all drivers.

except  "Lenovo Display Optimizer" and "Intel HD Graphics Driver".

and do "NOT" install "Lenovo Vantage" and "Lenovo System Interface Foundation".

last, upgrade intel Graphics Driver (26.20.100.7811) from windows update.

reboot.....

My UHD 4k 500nits was fine.

I thinks something wrong about BIOS or Lenovo software. Please check it and fix it.

Edit 1:

I'd updated Newest Driver from intel to 27.20.100.8280.

Everythin's good.

Edit 2:

Maybe the problem cause by HDR setting.
