Lenovo A485 and Thinkpad Ultra Docking station( 40AJ) issue---will not charge with 65 watt adapter)

Hello,

before I updated the firmware utility, my thinkpad A485 was recharging witht he 65 watt adapter attached to the docking station.

However, now I need the 135 watt adapter attached to the docking station?

Why is this happening?

is there a way to uninstall the driver update? I cannot find anything related to dockign station in the contorl panel-->uninstall programs.

Please help me, this is very frustrating. I am using the docking station for just one 1080p  display, it was able to work smoothly with the 65 watt adapter plugged to the docking station.

My laptop was charged and the ports and the 1 1080p display was functional.

Please help me, I do not want to use the 135 watt adapter as I need it for another lenovo dock.

Dear Elric, welcome to Lenovo forum ! 40AJ ultra dock only configure with 135w adapter, any other lower power adapter may have potential risk.

Alright but why does it say "70 watt" in Lenovo vantage --> battery section in hardware settings?
