Lenovo Gobi 4000 MC7750

I purchased a Lenovo Gobi 4000 MC7750 (Lenovo P/N 0B42409 FRU PN 04W3791)

The device is labeled "Sierra Wireless | AirPrime"
It throws 4 devices into the device manager.
Hardware IDs are: Vid_114f&Pid_68a2&MI_00/02/03/08
i tried to install the driver , It seems no matter what I do
Since this is a Lenovo branded card and ya'll seem to have a knack for making things work when they're not supposed to I figured I would post here and see if you have any suggestions.

thank you

Re: Lenovo Gobi 4000 MC7750

1. Do the device items in Device Manager persist without exclamation or question marks?

2. What carrier do you plan to work with?

3. Did you install and launch Lenovo Mobile Broadband Activation application for Verizon carrier?

4. What do you mean exactly when say "It seems no matter what I do"?

Re: Lenovo Gobi 4000 MC7750

mc7750 doesn't support frequency bands Etisalat LTE works in - B3 (1800 mhz) and B7 (2600 mhz). That modem is for the Verizon carrier only.

Use mc7710 instead.

Re: Lenovo Gobi 4000 MC7750 driver

1. again, mc7750 will not work in Etisalat LTE network. Even if the drivers will be installed correctly with Etisalat's sim card you'll not see and do nothing.
2. What items related to mc7750 do you see in Device Manager? Which is with the exclamation mark?
3. which OS is installed on your laptop? which drivers do you install?
4. is mobile broadband card enabled within Fn+F5 control window? is Lenovo Access Connections installed?
