Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen Black Line Screen

My X1 all of a sudden has a black line on the screen when the brightness is higher than ~ >40%. It's the OLED touchscreen version.

It looks like this:

And without a question...happens 2 months right after the warranty expires. Already contacted technical support; anyone has a similar issue? Is a screen replacement most likely the only solution?

Re: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen Black Line Screen

I think it's a failed panel.  I know of no option other than replacement

Re: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen Black Line Screen

You mean self-fix? What is the model part? I see this on Taobao: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?scm=1007.10009.70205.100200300000001&id=574777227105&pvid=8cb2fd42-...

Not sure if it is the exact screen and how I would be able to DIY (or DIMyself in this case)...

I just sent an email to technical support and tried to see what are my other options.
