Newly bought(second hand) Lenovo thinkpad x260 , love everything about the notebook except the dull washed out display .
My question is ' can I simply swap the shipped dispay of 1366 x768 for a 1920 x 1080 ips display' . I have the knowlege how to do this but will I be wasting £70 . I read on another forum (cant remember where) that sometimes the internal video cable needs to be upgraded and this is not something I want to attempt , I dont want to brick the machine and have to sent it to a repair shop .
Machine Type Model x260

Thank you for the welcome , your answer reinforces what I have heard from a screen re-seller website . It is good to have an expert second opinion thank you very much . My choices are 1 put up with the screen as is 2 research how to replace the video cable or 3 sell the device on . I think Number 3 is the choice I will make .
