Lenovo Vantage says no internet connection

Often when I start up Lenovo Vantage to check for system updates, the screen says I have no internet connection. Other times Lenovo Advantages does recognize my connection.

 

The fact that I am able to post this message while I am getting the "no internet connection" obviously shows that I do have an internet connection. 

 

Any ideas?

Oh, well. It's back. Right now I'm clearly connected to the internet - I'm online making this post. But Lenovo Vantage is again saying that I have no Internet connection.

So I can't check for updates.

I have not been able to connect to Lenovo Vantage for a week now to check for updates. It continues to say "No internet connection."

Has anyone found a solution for this? I also have this problem on almost every Lenovo machine we have, including several brand new systems.

Lenovo Vantage: for 3 weeks it's saying No Internet Connection

Since I'm posting this now, I obviously have an Internet connection. But my X1 says I don't so it can't check for updates.

 

Is there anything to do about this?
