Lenovo X1 Carbon 2016 Windows 10 Build

2016-05-09, 13:43 PM

Hi All

So im looking to build my new X1 carbon with Windows 10 Enterprise 64bit, i have the iso on a bootable USB pen, but i cannot get the system to boot from the usb with secure boot on. I would like to take advantage of the UEFI boot, i can turn off the secure boot and it will build as normal, but after installing all the drivers, i put UEFI secure back on and it wont do anything.

Am i missing something here?

Regards

Stu

make sure you also made USB version in UEFI mode if you did it in MBR aka leagacy then USB stick wont appear unless you put bios to Legacy so use rufus and select iso then on top where it says MBR change that to UEFI  / GPT and then click start/run let it do the work then once done try USB again since that will make sure copy on usb will act as UEFI.
