I am trying to disable Wireless Auto Disconnection, but can't find this in the BIOS.
Basically I am using the Watchguard SSL VPN, which works fine on ethernet but not over wifi. Watchgaurd have said the WIFI is auto disconnecting.

Welcome to the forums. You don't mention what version X1 Yoga you have. I know on my X1 Yoga 3rd gen its in BIOS under "Config" then "Network" then "Wireless Auto Disconnection".

Which generation X1 Yoga do you have? This was a new BIOS setting in the 2nd generation; 1st generation doesn't have it. The setting is in BIOS Setup -> Config -> Network. Also note that Windows 10 itself will auto-disconnect from WiFi when ethernet is connected.

Then it's not BIOS that is causing the disconnection. It's Windows itself. You'll have to ask Microsoft how to prevent that, because I don't know. Here is some information about it: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/mobilebroadband/understanding-and-configur...

Thanks, but have already tried this

Try this:
1. Run gpedit.msc
2. Local Computer Policy -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> Windows Connection Manager
3. Double-click on "Minimize the number of simultaneous connections..."
4. Set it to Enabled, then change "Minimize Policy Options" to "0 = Allow simultaneous connections"
5. Click on OK

I'm afraid you'll have to ask Microsoft for further support. I can tell you that I followed my instructions on my X1 Yoga 1st gen, and now ethernet and wireless are connected at the same time.
