Lenovo X230 screen problems

Dear lenovo,

 

My lenovo x230 has just started to give wierd 'band' on the display

 

I have a 12.5" Premium HD (1366x768) LED Backlit Display.

 

The lenovo was bought in June 2013. I have attached the relevant pictures.

 

I can tilt the screen to a few positions where the band does not appear, it begins to appear when I move the screen.

 

Is it only a wire/connection issue or will I have to replace the entire LED panel ?

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

 

As per the query we understood that you are facing the issue with Lines on Display on ThinkPad X230.

 

As per the image which was provided, it seems that the issue might be with LCD connector or with LCD cable. Visit the nearby service center get it fixed.

Sorry for the late reply, 

 

I have contacted Lenovo, it is likely they will replace the LCD screen.

 

I would consider my query to be 'SOLVED'
