Lenovo X240 Windows Change

Dears ,

Please, I would like to format my PC and switch from my actual Windows 7 to Windows 10. But, I'm afraid to lose the technical uses of the Laptop keyboard button as brightness, Wifi, Mic, Volume, keyboard lighting.....

According to the other drivers (Bluetooth, Audio, Wifi) is there any difficulty to get the correct files ?

The purpose is to ensure the correct Kick-off and avoid any difficulty.

Thank you very much.

Re: Lenovo X240 Windows Change

Hi mouadben, I'm using an X240 with Windows 10 AU and the hotkey features all work fine, and no driver problems. Install Windows, update it (from Settings), then run Lenovo System Update

Tell us how it goes!

I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

Re: Lenovo X240 Windows Change

Hello bananaman, thanks a lot for your reply.

I'll format it and switch to windows 10, and I'll share the experience Smiley Happy

By the way, as you are a user of the X240, please I still got a doubt according to my internal battery presence, I've already opened a discussion about this (Battery #1 not present internal battery X240" "https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-X-Series-Laptops/Battery-1-not-present-internal-battery-X240/m...") but the response was not certain at 100%. I'm asking if you have an idea how to ensure ?

Thank you.
