Hello juju42123,

Welcome to Lenovo Community

A blinking power light is an indication that the laptop is in sleep mode.

Try opening and closing the lid a few times and check if the laptop comes out of sleep mode by itself.

By the way, what happens after the light blinked 3 times then?

Regards,

The "three blinks" is an indication that the laptop has sensed that the power supply has been plugged in.  All my ThinkPads do that.  They blink the power button LED and/or the red "i" in ThinkPad.  It's normal.  Sleep is indicated by a slow blink that continues, not three blinks.

Is there something else that makes you think there's a problem?

Z.

@juju42123

As Z has stated, 3 "blinks" is normal, as confirmation, when attaching to AC power. It is a good sign.

I have marked the post as the solution.

Regards.

That is all it is supposed to do.
Plug in AC power, three flashes to confirm.

Regards.

@NateS

After the on/off button flashes, the display does not light up.
