Hi,

I am trying to using Lenovo  freestyle with Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) and two different laptops:

1. Legion 5 Pro 

2. ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Gen 

Now everything works fine with the Legion laptop, but ThinkPad laptop shows offline all the time in Lenovo Freestyle app.

All three devices are in the same network (the laptops can "see" each other in the network) and the corresponding TCP/UDP ports are open.

Also already tried to reset the connection and the recommendations under "Android Device Discovery fails" in the FAQ of Lenovo Freestyle Troubleshooting.

How can this be solved? One of the main reasons for purchasing the tab was to use it as second display with my ThinkPad, but it does not work.

That sounds really challenging. How was extending display with the Legion 5 pro? Check the requirements for .NET FRAMEWORK, Version=v4.8 and others like Windows Media Player goes on the Thinkpad along with Windows optional updates to apply. Compare how the network configurations match with the two laptops. Re-set up the Think pad uninstalling Freestyle and reinstalling fresh from the MS Store and update back on how it goes. @fharatzu Have you tried all the suggested steps? How did it go? It would help if you could share the product number that would look like 21D20000US from the sticker or Vantage app, OS build version, and the BIOS version.

I have tried all of the suggested steps - multiple times. I've also tried different home networks, and even a mobile one.

It seems to me that the problem is on the labtop where I get these mixed messages from the app:

 

The laptop is a ThinkBook 16 BIOS: MMCN36WW

running Windows 11, version 23H2

the tablet is a Lenovo Tab P11(2nd Gen)

system version: TB350FU_S130417_240327_ROW

I am really disappointed that this doesn't work. It was the main reason I got the tablet and would have gone for just a portable monitor if it wasn't for this advertised feature...
