Lenovo settings dependency package Error Temp Folder

2016-04-19, 18:24 PM

Dear friends,

I need to get your help.

When I tried to install "Lenovo Settings dependency package v2.4.0.20", I got an error due to temp folder. < impossible to run the file on temp folder >.

My laptop is a X1 Carbon, 3rd Gen with Windows 8.1

I'd really appreciate your comments.   Regards!

Sorry for this trouble.  Can you clarify how you are trying to install it?

Did you download it from website here?  http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds031946

Or are you trying to install it from System Update?

Or something else?

Hello.

First, I tried with "System Update". Didn't work.
Later, I tried a manual process, downloading the file from Lenovo website. Didn't work.

The message is somethink like "Unable to execute file in the temporary folder. Interrupted installation".

My config:
- X1 Carbon Gen 3
- Windows 8.1 (64-bit) < spanish version >

I really have no idea about this problem, and I haven't heard it before.

Can you please try to uninstall Lenovo Settings Dependency Package from Control Panel -> Programs?  Reboot, and then try to re-install it.
